tyler-bean-writing-literatureAlternative Press recognized Tyler Daniel Bean’s talent for music after naming him one of 100 Bands You Need to Know in 2013. Bean has taken the music industry by storm as he continues to push the boundaries and further explore the art of producing music.  His passion for music led him to produce his first vinyl LP album in 2012, featuring thesong, “Longing.”  Since the release, Bean has continued to create music in order to make a name for himself.  His most current venture is his new vinyl album titled, “Everything You Do Scares Me,” which will be released on July 9, 2013.

The Past

Bean’s first album featured songs that were categorized in the emo genre.  The first song that put the aspiring music producer on the map was “Longing.”  While some critics were skeptical about the dark lyrics written by Bean, the album gave Bean credibility for his talents in writing refreshingly new lyrics unexplored by songwriters.  He was also applauded for his ability to play most of the music that was featured in the songs.  Kat Kat Records were the first label company to give this Burlington native a chance at stardom.  Since the release of Longing, Kat Kat records chose to work with Bean for a second time in his upcoming 7” album, “Everything You Do Scares Me.”

The Present

Bean recently graduated from Burlington College with a degree in Writing and Literature and plans to continue building his resume in the music industry by making more records.  “Everything You Do Scares Me” helped Bean channel his talents for songwriting into a 2 song 7” where he wrote and produced both, “Year of the Snake” and “I Was Wrong.”  Kat Kat Records and Tor Johnson will be splitting the label release as Bean tests the boundaries with his daring and honest lyrics that captivated fans since the beginning.

The Future

Bean hopes to continue producing music that receives the same positive feedback from his first album.  His obvious talents for songwriting have given the newly graduated student the tools for success as he continues to make inspiring music for all generations to enjoy.
